We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
last night at 4am I was dreaming and apparently fell...no...dove out of bed and hit my head/face on the night table....
As I laid on the floor near death...Belle thinks it time to play...so she is bouncing all over the place.....
I get my bearings....go to the mirror and see blood so I grabbed a handful of tissue to blot and away we go....outside....I get about halfway across the backyard when the sprinklers come on...
I run...as best I can with my head injury....across the yard toward the house...getting soaked along the way.....then I kick the shit out of a stone step with my big toe....as I am writhing on the stone floor in pain I notice 2 large scorpions headed my way....and I think...OK! This is it! This is how its all going to end!
They are going to find me wet..with a broken toe ...a blackeye...scorpions...and this little dog dry humping my head...
well obviously I am back in the dry safety of my house....injured but not dead....just glad I can tune in and watch these dogs fucking....
Another day of Ark building yesterday, but today looks promising. If you don't count the heat index. Tomorrow is actually supposed to be nice out. What is that like???
First time in 3 weeks I have woke up in my own bed on a Saturday-going away is nice, but being home can be nicer!
Oh, and I can hear your minds clicking already. I did NOT wake up in someone elses bed with them-Mr. Goldie was with me everytime. :)
ZONA...you poppped in while I was typing! 115? YUCK!! It'll be in the low to mid 90's here with a shitload of humidity. My hair is freaking out as I type!
Mo, yep! Still here. Sorry to hear about all your heat. We're having "terrible" weather, too. Mild with rain. I went for a walk early this morning... Fresh rain on the mountains smells GOOD!
It will get worse. Dinner at my house. Homemade delights with friends and plenty of wine. I know, I know. My plight is so much worse than DeeDee's kerfuffle, but someone's got to do the tough stuff.
A Hallmark Hall of Fame movie "November Christmas" is filming there for two weeks.....looks pretty fun...they have decorated the town like Christmas....
Hmmm..thought I would try going on one of my farms on FB..my computer had other ideas..it made a 'whirrrr click click click' sound and then re-booted..it kinda sounded like a slot machine..thought maybe I'd won something..guess not..phooey..if this dang thing had an ankle, I'd kick it.. ;)

I DJd a wedding reception this afternoon. The bride wanted an outdoor wedding (nature thing). It was a hot & humid MOFO! It sprinkled off & on. Luckily it never rained hard. I wish I would have taken a picture of the corner I was working out of! It was a Hunting & Fishing lodge. Right next to my DJ table was a huge, I mean HUGE head of an Elk! Mr Mary kept hitting his head on it. I am 5'nothing and barley cleared it! They had no A/C, but at least gave me a fan for my little corner! The bride & groom felt sorry for everyone & cut the reception short. I was soaking wet from the humidity. So glad to be home and dry! Need to check my farm & deliver a tree :)
DeeDee: Wow, I am so glad you are okay..my night was horrible last night..I got maybe 4 hours of sleep! Went to sleep at 1, woke up at 3:00, again at 4:30, again at 6, again at 7 to finally get up..each time stayed up for at least 15 minutes. I hate nights like that..uggh. I was so tired today.
