Ever Wondered What Ant Subterrain Structure's Looks Like?

ok...look at this.....I saw it and was like OMG......the information is so phenomenally amazing......the first time I saw it I wasn't really paying attention and I thought they were excavating a dinosaur skeleton...standing upright....lol
DeeDee~ LOVED today's post....so interesting~ I showed it to Janice and she was amazed...wanted the link so she could send it to Mr. Janice....of course, she didn't call him Mr. Janice....she used his real name....but I won't here....cuz it's a funny name~ :D
DeeDee, This is really amazing. Five tons of concrete? So, they killed all the ants that were in there by pouring all that cement? Were those round things their homes? One for each family? or did they have mini-malls along the way? Oh, so many questions.
I have a whole new respect for ants let me tell you....I don't kick the tops of their mounds anymore..or stir em up with a stick...I mean hell....they don't have time for that crap...THEY ARE BUSY DOING AMAZING STUFF down there!!
SacBarb....that is an abandoned ant colony...those ants retired and moved to Florida....no ants were harmed in that whole process.....
There is a longer video that tells how they designed the air conditioning system....I am not kidding....it has to remove the carbon dioxide and bring in fresh air all the way to the bottom...and CIRCULATE IT!!! AND IT DOES!!!
And you know I checked and not one of those ants has an engineering or architecture degree....
Just got a text from Mary..she's exhausted but her brother is still hanging in there..fighting. So everyone keep your thoughts and prayers to Mary now, she really needs them. Thanks!

I wonder, could we genetically engineer Mutant Ants? We could have them build homes. You know, mud hut things. I put dibs on my choice of pods. Location location location.

quick up date. Somtime tonight they are going to do surgery for his kidney stones. They say they need to take the chance because he is in such pain.Thank you all for caring. I need to speak to this hospital about this lousy waiting room. Who can sleep on a 4ft couch. there are 3 here and a small bed.We are taking turns on the bed napping. I am doing fine. Many of you have gone through the same routine in the last few months. Such is life. I have my laptop so I will be heading to FB. I will be leaving updates there. Have a great day all!!
BTW, DeeDee, thanks so much for the awesome distraction :) I will be looking for more on your wall since there is wireless here and my puter won't be eating up my megabytes!

I have been very frustrated as my computer was not letting me do any of my applications on FB since last night. MRD finally got up and was able to fix it for me.
