Funny, or Not?

by Bonachichi

The first time I saw this vid, I laughed. In fact, I laughed whilst watching it several times. What a knob! And a spoilt brat. Then I thought about the girl. Surely, she didn’t put this on YouTube herself? I saw some of the comments people were making about her. If I were her mother, I’d have gotten it taken down immediately. I hope the ending of this story isn’t a sad one. We all have moments like this girl displays, but they are usually secret, not broadcast to the world. So watch this video. Watch it a few times and see if your reaction changes from laughter (go ahead, cuz it’s funny) to compassion for the mistakes made by youth when their quest to stand out doesn’t go as planned.

The cussing bothers me! My daughter has a bff whose parents cuss all the time in front of the kids. My daughter comes home and tells me that it's okay if I cuss in front of her cuz it's not like she hasn't heard it! I tell her all the time that it's not okay! I may have a potty mouth, but not in front of them! How in the world will they learn when and where it's not appropriate? I have a friend who went to see another friend and that friends' child started cussing up a storm as if she was an adult. It was just so wrong on so many levels and my friend was just a little upset about it. I'd smack my kid so hard if I heard anything like that coming out of their mouth! I have no control when they aren't with me, but you better believe I do when they are with me!!!!!!

Good morning Tina-kins!

I sent this vid to one of my music producer friends, telling him this was his next big star. He said he thought she'd make a better actress. Drama, you know. Maybe a horror flick what with all the screaming.

I still don't know whether to feel disgust or compassion. but it's a little funny. Okay, it's a lot funny.

I didn't get the strong impression that she would mind having this out there on youtube... I think she kind of likes the attention.

But then, what the fuck do I know?

Tina: When determining what is and isn't appropriate behavior for your kids, I think you should always trust the decisions to a higher power.

In other words, you should ask yourself: What would Dee Dee do?

Bear~ I know what DeeDee would do! In fact, every time there is a "situation", I get two answers from her.....the "shocker" one, and then (Thank God!) the real one! btw....how did you know DeeDee was high?

Tina Good moaning to you, too. My you are beautiful today, no matter what DeeDee might say.

Bear LOL @ DeeDee being the "higher power"!

Bonach Well, it was kind of funny and entertaining. I'm glad there was no YouTube when I was a kid. I never fancied myself a singer but I probably wouldn't want any footage of me doing "The Pony" when I was in junior high out on the internet. I was always considered a good dancer but, let's face it, the Pony was pretty funny looking.

Boy, am I glad I'm not on that Carnival ship that is stuck out in the ocean. No refridgeration and no hot water. The emergency suppies going out to them is canned meat such as Spam. I guess that means no ice sculptures, either. LOL

Just_Lin; I was in that same position when I was at sea during a hurricane. Except we weren't on a cruise ship. More like a little dinghy. At least, that's what it felt like.

Bonach. The very first cruise I went on was 25 yrs ago and we skirted around a hurricane. I was eating Dramine like candy (which worked) and I remember going down the hall bouncing off one wall then the opposite wall. it was not one of the huge ships they have now but it was still a ship. I can't imagine how bad it would be in a small boat or yacht, even. I remember feeling like I was going to get thrown out of bed and we were just in the outer edges of the hurricane.
