We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)

Well Tina, I guess you are leaving us owls out on the limb :) I choose to discuss my cold weather aches & pains! jk I just made reservations for a late march cruise for my Niece Raquel & I. Sailing on the "Liberty of the Sea". If I had DeeDee's money I would have taken the Oasis of the Seas!
Speaking about Tina's tah tahs... I wonder if they "developed" while she was preggie?

Happy Friday Owls. I hope you are all having a great day. We are bracing for a severe storm that should bring a lot of snow to the Sierras. Most of the Ski Lodges are scrambling to get things ready to open two weeks earlier than planned to take advantage of the early snow. I, however, am just turning the heat up.

DeeDee Oh, my! Look how pretty you are today in hot pink! Are those false eyelashes you're wearing. They seem to be in fashion these days. As for the steam coming out of your ears, maybe you should check that hot zorch of yours and see if it's plugged or something.
My son just called a little while ago. He was in an accident. He and kids are okay but truck may be totalled.
He and ex wife newly divorced and she just quit her job last night so she won't have to pay the court ordered support to him. I guess she thinks that will be okay with the judge. The fun and games just never end.
Justlin, what Tina said!! I am thinking of staying off the roads until the Holidays are over! People are just too distracted this time of year!
My cruise starts in Miami and goes to Belize,Costa Mayo, & Cozumel. I wanted to take her to the South Eastern Caribbean, but with the cholera out breaks in & around Haiti I thought I would skip it. I'm not even sure the ships are stopping at the Dominican Republic.
DeeDee, No offense, but your pic kinda looks like Betty White on Steroids! The eyes kind of look like our deer before they get hit by a car!

I went to the basement to work out on my treadmill and wound up cleaning for 2 hrs down there! Does that count as exercise??

I am not as sore today. My thumb and hand resemble a thumb and hand again. The swelling is coming down. It is still colorful, though and hurts...but not like before.
And I got the best news so far...they ARE going to repair my car!! I forgot the exact amount of damage but it between 5 and 6 thousand dollars of damage. It is supposed to be ready on 12/6.
TINA...calm down...tomorrow morning go to the DMV and have them print out a replacement drivers license and then overnight it to him so he can get it on Monday. Then when he comes home on Tuesday...SLAP HIM!
LMBO Mo~ actually....anything paper doesn't cut it with TSA....well..it does in SLC, but I don't know about Spokane.....we tried that with the hubby in Phoenix, and they wouldn't accept it..thank God we had his passport~ But the idiot found his wallet....he just left it in a friend's car last night when they went out to dinner~ OMG!!!! I'm so relieved!!~ Now.....back to watching Grey's Anatomy~ :D
Tina, You had me panicking and sighing with relief all in 20 seconds! I am glad the out come was good & quick!!! I have had my purse stolen and know the awful feeling!
Tina Glad your son found his wallet. My son has always had the ability to lose something just by walking from the living room to the other end of the house....and it's a small house.

Mary Your cruise sounds great. My first cruise was to the caribbean but not those particular stops.
Mary I forgot to add that, yes, cleaning does count as exercise, at least in my book it does. As long as you are moving, you are exercising. :)
