I have gotten a couple of e-mails from bloggers, telling me of their turmoil and why they have not been on the blog, as how can one be lifted up, when such unrest is all around us. As much as a blogger wants to send me a blog, the words are just not there, the bitterness is, which will turn into hateful words, so a blog for them cannot be.
We are also very divided on our presidential choices, and I think some refrain from posting comments about their thoughts on each candidate, not to upset the apple cart of sorts. If you are very vocal, as I am, its very hard not to write what you feel in a comment, so instead, some choose not to comment. It is understood, I get it.
I guess we just have to be there for each other, we have to wait and see what happens daily, take it one day at a time. I think that is the best we can do for now.

I think everyone is feeling conflicted in one way or another right now. We seem to have a lot of issues to deal with and we all handle them differently. I prefer to have humor- but I know others don't.

scirish- nothing would surprise me at this point. The wedding reception is in a big pole barn with NO HEAT!!! The smaller building with the bathrooms and kitchen are heated. This is where the food is served, but the dance will be in the bigger building. Will have to do a lot of chicken dances to keep warm!
Actually, they encouraged everyone to change into comfortable clothing for the reception/dance- so I will be in my brand new cardigan, pants and turtleneck by then..

I can go one of two way's when I'm worried, nervous or upset..I either get real quiet or just start making joke's...mostly about myself. Although, this mornings little episode was from lack of sleep. Wish I could be like this more often. As you know from personal experience.....I love love to be the joker!!!!!♥
I really have to start my day here, even tho the phones are not ringing, things still have to be done. With the rain here in EWR (all day) the airport is going to be backed up..

Carol I have not been posting and have not written any blogs because of the conflict I am feeling.
Our bank was Washington Mutual that went down yesterday. We are very lucky that JP Morgan is buying them out and things should remain normal at least for now.
I am seriously thinking about drinking this morning I am so upset!
So I will try to find my funny bone but I really want to go back to bed and pull the covers over myself and lay curled up in a ball. Won't do that. I spent 2 years of my life like that already and I am fighting the depression like a warrior! I just hope my strength holds out.
Worried about all of us and can't make the merry go round of my mind stop.

Instead, I wait until they all over and listen to what everyone says about them.

We may disagree about our chose of canidate, but we sure are watching history.
I've never seen so much tension in the news.
It will be interesting to see what my future grown children will think about this time period that we are in.

Ok..regarding the blog topic...I am the kind of person that likes to hear each person's opinions. I find it interesting to hear a person's perspective on different issues. As we have discussed earlier, I don't think mean things need to be said as we mentioned about comedians. I am like you CAROL with the debate tonight. I will be happy to see my marriage make it through all of these in the next couple of weeks. I love to watch both sides, listen to everyone, watch FOX and CNN but I have a husband that is rather closed minded. If I wasn't here he would probably mute it during one of the canidates response. We may end up in separate rooms for the show...(see LYNND you should have let me come over). It would have been like you are a marriage counselor for the night!
I did hear a nice thing today. I was in my Hospice training for the day and there was a volunteer there on oxygen. We were talking about it and she told us that she is a 9 year Stage 4 Lung Cancer Survivor. She was so upbeat and working with Hospice patients for the last year. She was a breath of fresh air with all the turmoil in today's world. AND...her daily oxygen is just a temp thing for a couple of weeks!
Ok..now I have to go and eat and get my energy for tonight!

I am extremely tired tonight. I walked 9800 steps and have a heart walk tomorrow morning. I still haven't caught up sleep from my daughter having her fall. Right now my daughter is 19 and has a handicap placard for her broken foot (which is better) and she is fainting and falling. I am wondering if she is confused and thinks she is 91 or something.
