It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

I just had to say good-bye to my roomie MARY. This weekend has been amazing!! And BEBBI was right....we took over the lobby area yesterday, and it WAS Owl Manor!!
Dinner last night was amazing!! And I think it was cool that we all got to talk to SHIRLEY & ZONA!!
Chicago will always have a soft spot in my heart. This is where I got to meet my "sistah's".
Thank you to CAROL who worked so hard in finding a place that we could hang for a few days. You are one AMAZING woman and I'm proud to call u a sistahfriend. :O)

I want to wish all those heading home today safe travels. The weekend spent with friends in the windy city may be coming to and end..but the memories and friendships will last forever. So will the pictures and video..I can't wait to see them..!! :D
Well, I made it home safe & sound! I hated to leave Chicago! I didn't even get arrested! That's no fun lol! There are still Hooters there until Monday, maybe they can do some damage! Thanks everyone for all the sweet gifts! It was like Christmas all over again!

Had to help middle son with a cover letter tonight and drive Mr. B over to a friend's house.
I had the weirdest experience on the flight. I got hit on by a really cute 30 year old! OMG...made my Day for sure! haha. He was very sweet. He asked me for drinks..and I told him that I was married. He didn't stop trying though..so cute. I like older men, but this guy was good looking..Dark hair, tall, big FEET (lol, I am sorry, I noticed), great smile and beautiful eyes. ;) I told him he could be my SON...lol. But, he sure was sweet.
I would just like to mention (brag) that I have not been arrested, pulled-over, nor detained in any way by any law enforcement agency. Yet. So Mary's not the only Goodie-Two-Shoes in the flock.
Mary: I love your friskiness!! ^5 on you have the best rack for SURE! :) Too cute. I do think that Tina is in love with your boobies.

BIRDEE is a DOLL! She is really sweet and funny and as tall as my hips. Seriously, we have been having a blast. (At least I am!) I did try to take a pic and she dove under the bed. Actually, she didn't even have to bend down to get under it!
She really is sweet and so very pretty. She has gorgeous eyes, too.
I want contacts now so I can have eyes like hers, Carol's and Just Lin.
No Bebbi, no accidents yet. One car took a giant dump, but we got a replacement for it.
I sent Tina a blog about what happened, kind of. We were trying to get ahead and wound up "somewhere" around 3.00-4.00 in the morning. No car & few people. I didn't speak the language, didn't know what time it was or where I was. I had a meltdown.
With the helicopters came others in the same rally, so we were in the right place. Big relief! It's now 4.30 Monday morning (here) and too late to sleep cuz we're leaving soon.
I am home.. Need to decompress.. I have a killer headache as my ears have not popped yet.. and they kinda hurt.. my flight was right on time, and even arrived early..
Bebbi, we have just one more driving day here. Then back to USA/Canada.
We are hearing of a bomb in Times Square, which is our final checkpoint, I think. It's one of the checkpoints. Except now that might change cuz most of these cars are super $$ and whilst the guys have no problem driving like maniacs, they don't want their toys blown up.
We've mixed up some fun... not terribly stressful. The guys went out drinking one night, then one was "too sick" to help the next day. I called hotel room service & ordered a bucket of ice water to be dumped on the guys' nuts. After he found his testicles, he came straight to work.
J/L: It was no problem and I was really glad to be able to help! Also, thank you so much for dinner the first night...~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG...that was so fantastic. That was the best salad and salad dressing. YUM~! And the pizza was fun to try and it was tasty..just didn't live up the hype for me. I like thin crust better, I guess. :)
If you guys are using Windows, that sounds like a Firewall. Go to your Start menu & type "Firewall". Read instructions on how to add the Nest to your "Allowed" or "Unblock" list.
Well Crap! We're going into final preparations... I might have to sneak looks at the pics from the road. Maybe even find a dark corner where I can look now. A Peeping Owl!! Thanks, Tina!

Sacbarb and J/L and I had a day on the town yesterday. We even rode the train like a real Chicagoan! Then we met Tina and Di at the Navy Pier for Dinner. It was so much fun.
I am so glad I got to meet all of these fabulous people. It was so natural like picking up a story with old friends. It was like we had all met before. Sweet down to earth and fabulously funny people! Lots of food was shared and a few drinks too!
PS Shirley Tina is really the Prettier one, but I am smarter! :)

Why did you need rescued?? Was their an accident? It just doesn't sound like that job is worth any kind of money...too stressful for me.
