I had a nice visit with my sister. She brought little Logan with her. She home nurses him. He is around 2 yrs old and has condition with a name a mile long. He has a feeding tube and and another coming from his throat. He is sweet and smiles a lot. There are only a handful with his condition. Non lived past 1 yr. It saddens me to think he won't be around to go to school,have girlfriends marry etc. My sister is watching him on her own time so the Mother can be with her boyfriend during surgery. Don't even get me started on her! She is married, living with huz while seeing a man with no job who, for some reason not allowed to be around children for 5 yrs, including his own! Logan had an emergency trip to the hospital a few wks ago same day boyfriend got into an accident (not watching where he was going). Guess where she went? Yup, to boyfriend while my sis & her huz went to emergency!
Geesh, I went off on her anyway lol!

It's going to get hot next week..into the 100's..but we've been really lucky this year. We've only had two 100 degree days..last year we had already had 24...so no complaining from me. Well..maybe a little bit here and there.. ;)

I have not had long work outs, just mini ones through out the day. Seems to go easier on my knee. Hopefully I can increase my endurance.

Oh, had that graduation stuff myself a couple of weeks ago..not much time for the internet for sure. I hope it goes well for Tina and family! :)
My air condtioner guy has been here since 4:30. It is friggin' 87 degrees in the house and I am dying. He is almost done and has been so nice. He is a young guy from Poland and really has worked hard just doing a huge cleaning and freeon thing. I guess we didn't have it cleaned enough since we moved in. It is down to 83 now. As soon as he leaves I am going to the car to get cool and the store and them come home and take a freezing shower before bed.
Sharon and I went to see Chorus Line today. It my 2nd fave show (Chicago being 1st). We went to lunch first and just as we got into the restaurant, there was a downpour outside. We stayed until it became a drizzle and went on to the theater. It rained the whole time we were in the theater and was letting up by the time we got out. I think our rain is headed to AZ now.
Zona, BTW, did you get all your hairs cut today?
EBJ, Shooter's nickname was definitely a sexual reference. I got the idea that he was too excited on one of his dates and... Anyway, I'm glad he's gone.

TINA...and so grateful for all you have done to co-pilot (get it...airline reference!!) this blog! You have a full plate but always find room to help out.
Joanne had a colonoscopy today. They found a huge mass at the bottom of the colon. They sent some to pathology, but no word yet. The Doc said it has probably been growing for 20 years. Her colon was so full, since the mass restricted the amount of stool that could actually pass. He couldn't even get the scope in very far. The Surgeon came in and they aren't even going to discuss treatment until they can figure out more about the pancreas and if there is indeed cancer there. Then they will look into the next steps. They also got her MRI back and she had fractured her femur when she fell. There is nothing they are going to do for that except restrict her walking for the next 6 weeks. She still has some pneumonia, but it is getting better. Her color looks great and so far her blood counts have remained stable.
Please, if you don't mind keep the prayers going for her.

BEBBI..it's really kind of funny. There are 3 sisters involved and when I asked each of them what Joanne broke I got 3 different answers! Elaine said pelvis, Sharon said hip and Joanne said thigh...ding ding ding...we have a winner!!

Hey, I am going to just drive up there and get some more of that darn cheese...Gosh, it would taste so good right now..! We are heading to NY, wonder if hubby would be mad if I made a detour and went by Wisconsin for blueberry cheese..hehe. :) That was my snack at the airport and seriously very little made it home. The last of it went into a bowl of french onion soup. Truly delicious stuff! Best cheese I ever had.
