My kids taped the MTV Movie Awards or as I call it, The Twilight Awards!! I fast forwarded through the show to see if there was anything worth watching before deleting it. The kids saw me doing this and told me to watch Tom Cruise. I couldn't find Tom Cruise. They showed me this short, balding, hairy guy who was throwing a half nekkid tiger off the stage. I really didn't believe it was Tom until they showed Katie in the audience clapping and grinning from ear to ear. He was supposed to be his character, Les Grossman, from the movie Tropic Thunder (never saw it). I couldn't stop laughing. Tom keeping up with Jennifer Lopez. I guess you'd call this acting.

TINA: I actually saw "Tropic Thunder"..it was a weird movie. I don't think I would have been interested in seeing it if Matthew McConaughey wasn't in it! When Tom Cruise first appeared..I had no idea it was him. When Mr Z told me who that obnoxious, arrogant ass was..I was shocked. I'm not a Tom Cruise fan..but damn he played that part well. I always wondered if he was really acting.. ;)
The video was great TINA..I thought seeing that character once would be enough..but I really liked the dance number!

I have always thought Tom Cruise was very talented, but I was surprised he could really dance. More to him than meets the eye. I really think his issue is the parts he has picking lately. Somehow they just don't fit him.

My daughter just gave me those..some fancy handmade by Cubas..from Key West..shoot..they were brand new! I wonder where the heck they went and how I ended up with these old tennis shoes..and they smell.

Maureen: It was so great. I have pics up on Facebook. None of me though because I took all the pictures lol. I got to go fishing and caught two. The first night was scary as hell though because we had bad storms. The van was rockin (and has hubby says, "so stick your cock in"..) but it wasn't rockin from that, it was rockin from the wind! haha.
On Saturday morning we were supposed to go out on a boat but we didn't end up going because everyone was so exhausted from being up all night. Oh, and don't have to go pee in the middle of a bad storm..you just might have to open the back door of the van, hop out and squat in between heavy showers...oh to be in touch with nature..haha.
Good times! Made smores at the campfire, talked with friends, rode bikes, fished, went on trails, saw the raccoons and turtles..even had the raccoons get our garbage..reset the tent after the storms..and generally had the best time in nature. :)
BEBBI...Sounds fun. I always like camping...at the Ritz Carlton!
Mo, it was fantastic! Seriously..the one problem..when you are camping and have to ride your bike to the restroom..well, you have to go and then you ride the bike and traveller's butt sets in and then you can't go..so then you head back to camp and you sit around and talk and then you have to go again and then you ride the bike and traveller's butt sets in..and well, you get the picture..it was not a good weekend for #2.

Tina Thank you for the blog today. I didn't see the whole movie but I did see clips of this character that Tom played. If I remember correctly, his name didn't appear in the credits so it was kind of like a little joke he played on everyone.
J/L: It was super..I loved every minute of it...really! :) It wasn't as much as it sounded and it's so fun! I didn't wear makeup for 3 days and I got so dirty. I am a Tomboy at heart...and just love it. Nothing feels better than a nice shower when you've got really grimy and dirty from playing.. :) it was super.
Tina: Yes, it is fun! You should go..did you ever go with your kids? Hank set up the a/c in the van and was fiddling with it all weekend. It was nice and cool in there. You can see a picture of our set up if you go on Facebook. And the gazebo/tent that I kept putting up all weekend..haha.. But, I will have you all know that Hank didn't have to touch that tent. I set it up in the dark on Friday night, set it up again on Saturday morning and took that thing down and put it away. He didn't touch a thing. And, I cooked him breakfast on my little camp stove I got from Ulta cosmetics..haha. Breakfast and dinner! lol.
Okay Ladies..I am heading to bed..goodnight all and sweet dreams. I have to call the dentist in the morning and make an appointment to get this chipped tooth fixed. I have never had a chipped tooth before, what do they do to fix it? At least it's not in a noticeable location..uggh...
I hate the dentist! uggh.
Bebbi....for a chipped tooth they make a gold frame and the area that is chipped is where they make the frame a little wider...I'd recommend getting white and yellow gold....makes it easier to accessorize....

Bebbi~ We have a tent trailer.....we used to go camping all the time...there are so many places to go in Utah alone~ We've been to Colorado and Arizona as well~ It's so much fun! And yes...that first shower when you get home....Heaven~
