Get the Beat, and Go with it!
This song is originally from an a Italian Singer "Renato Carosone" he made this song "Tu vuo fa l'americano (We speak no americano) in 1956. An Australian Group "Yolanda be Cool" samples his song in this techno dance version. I know it might not be for everyone, but I totally love it and get the beat, and truly just wanna fist pump all over the house. What I love the most, is when hip young artists take old songs, and make it their own. I am sure in 1956 Mr Carosone would have never thought that in 2010 young adults would be dancing to a sample of his song in all the clubs all over the world. And I think that is so cool.

I want to again say THANK YOU to all of you that extended birthday wishes to me yesterday. It meant a very lot. Also the songs on my voice mail made me smile!

Di from area 51, we just got a recumbant bike too. MR. EBJ was trying to put it together yesterday and there are parts all over the floor.
He will tackle it again tonight.
The box says "some assembly required". The only thing that I can see that doesn't require assembly is the case for the chain (or whatever it is). EEEKS.

I never did get back to sleep, got up and doing laundry. Going to make lasagna in a while, the MR. has been asking for it for a week or so.

It is a beautiful day here in Mich. A little cool, but the beautiful fall colors on the trees make up for it.
A friend of mine is putting on his first musical performance today so I will be catching it. I just wish it wasn't in the middle of my football game!

CAROL - What a catchy tune!! And believe it or not this Norwegian gal has heard this before!! I found this video a few weeks ago on YouTube....same song, but an avante garde (sp?) Irish dance duo put a new spin on it. Check it out....fun!!

ok.. so I finally came into the 20th century and bought a droid incredible. It has everything one would need and more.. internet, apps, etc, etc, etc.. but them me tell ya, it is so hard to figure out.. the phone came with a small book of instructions, but in order to get the actually handbook you have to download it or order it.. So I will def be ordering it.. For now I can txt and make calls, so I am totally not out of the loop..

and a update on IS#2 and his wedding plans..
They are shooting for a Oct 2011 wedding hopefully around the 13th.. In the upcoming weeks they will be looking at places to have the wedding, and then I guess when they find a place they like that will give them the exact date..
so I will keep you all posted..
I am going to play with my phone a bit.. hope I don't blow it up!

Carol, I have the Droid 2. I didn't order the booklet. I have been taking my time figuring it out. I cussed more then once, but haven't tossed it in the river yet lol!

Jodi, sorry I keep missing you (cell). I have been in "out of service" areas. Many of the smaller villages around me are on hills and valleys and drop many calls if they even get service.

Football has a celebration rule that can cost your team a 15 yard penalty? Are you kidding me??? Really??? Who the hell came up with this stupid rule? I just read where the Dallas Cowboys were given a 15 yard penalty for one player leapfrogging over another player in the end zone after a touchdown. So what...big deal. They get a 15yd penalty. OK all you football fans tell me what you think of this. I'm not a football fan (ducks from items thrown at her) so maybe it's just me who thinks this is utterly rediculous.
SHIRLEY - I agree....ridiculous!! I have totally questioned the ref's minds this season....*she says shaking her head*
SHIRLEY and HODI...I think it is absurd. It isn't easy to score a TD, so let them celebrate for a minute. Sheesh. I remember when they used to dance in the end zone and spike the ball. I enjoyed watching that part of the game more then the game itself! Well, that and all the tightends in their tight pants!
MOHO - You would like a tight end ;) I really don't know what the big deal is!! The Packers do a Lambeau Leap every time they score a TD!! Maybe they don't get penalized for it because it's not in the end zone?
Jodi in my research I found out that the Lambeau Leap (whatever the hell that is) and spiking the ball was allowed. No penalties, but they also said that your feet couldn't leave the ground. So I guess you are just suppose to score the touchdown and then hurry off to the bench!
OK for some reason my back is hurting me so I have taken some drugs and I'm going back to bed.
