As you all know, Saturday is def my day. I look forward to it all week. I start out early and continue my day till I can't walk anymore. Each Saturday brings something different, and I love every minute of it. Today @ 9:30a I start out with a mani and pedi, the rest of my day, is shopping, shopping, shopping. Need some fall clothes.
So off I go...

Carol. I wish I loved shopping as much as you do. Oh, wait, maybe it's good that I don't. I am currently waiting a for a light breakfast to be delivered to our cabin. I am looking out at the skyline of Quebec. Later, we will take a tour of the countryside. I hope you all have a great day!

Jake has his last football game this morning, and of course it is raining like a mofo!! Oh, well....have umbrella will yell like hell for my guy!! Later we're going to a Halloween party. Should be fun!! I found the cutest orange Halloween t-shirt....it even has an owl on it!! I'm wearing black and orange striped tights under capri's with my black boots and found a cute headband that has a wee little witches hat attached to it with orange yarn braids hanging down on either side. Paul is just wearing what he wears most days and is calling it his lumberjack costume!!

Just got back from Jake's game!! They won and Jake got 2 TD's!!! Thankfully it stopped raining the minute I bought a new umbrella. Still a overcast chilly game....but so worth it!!!

I went to a craft show this morning. My GF was selling her beautiful quilts and table runners.
I came home with a cute pair of wool gloves,peanut brittle & peanut butter fudge. Hubby has already devoured the brittle.
We just finished watching our Michigan State team beat North Western, so all is happy here in Mich!
There is no way our Det. Lions will lose tomorrow!!!

Heidi: That sounds pretty good for Saturday night! I just bought some Maine lobster tails for dinner, and we're going to hole up and watch the Giants/Phillies game. It's very wet and dreary this weekend in the Bay Area.
Mary: We're watching all the college football games this afternoon with great interest. When your team loses (we're Buckeye fanatics), you acquire a vested interest in every game from there on out involving a higher-ranked team!

Just got back from Walgreens. The false eyelashes I bought for my costume were suppose to be self adhering, but came off in about 2 minutes flat. So I had to go back out and get adhesive, and no SHIRLEY....no way I was gonna use your suggestion of crazy glue!!!

Tomorrow is a big day for my football team because we play the Raiders (ZONA AND SAC BARB'S TEAM). We are hoping for a big Denver win!!! Weather is supposed to be perfect here so if our team can just not drop the ball we should be good.

I would rather not shop for clothes...fortunately I know some really nice salespeople who usually pick stuff out...put it together and call me...if I had to search for stuff I would just go nekkid'...
Dianne...Tina is having a nice time.....youngest had to go to Urgent Care...another ear infection....Mr. Tina is being his usual "charming" self....youngest got to spend the night with college bro last night...He loved the drinking...sex and drugs....I say his ear problem is prolly from some young hussy sticking her tongue in it and slobbering all over it!
Little Tina...the sweet child...is having a little trouble putting up with the rest of them...and like me...when she speaks up she gets in trouble...I relate well to her because you see...she too...is ahead of her time...
J/L...I love hearing about your cruise....sounds marvelous! Next time you can borrow my "If the boats rockin'...don't come knockin'" doorknob hanger...I imagine you have smooth sailing in the bay and on the river though...thats what would make this cruise perfect for the door hanger...lol

Well.. day did not turn out as planned.. my dad's sister, has been ill, but today she took a turn for the worse.. I got the call after my mani and pedi.. and could not concentrate on anything else, so I put the shopping off.. I will be taking my parents to see her tomorrow, which I am nervous about. I just off the phone with my cousin, and its just so sad.. It surely does not matter how old you are or the person that is ill, it still hurts like hell..
Every day, brings something different.. and we must push forward..

Bear. We are in Quebec City and the cruise is ending here. We disembark in the morning and will spend tomorrow night at the Chateau Frontenac.

I'm so pooped! Had a fun time at my brother's best friends' house! His family lives up here and our kids are the same age. It's also nice to not have to eat out again~
