This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
lol....no I just thought of Mayberry with those tree lined streets and the WWI Memorial...
I could just see Bea putting a couple of pies on the window ledge to cool...and Floyd opening the barber shop and Gomer welcoming his first customer of the day....and Otis going home from the jail to his wife...
And Deputy Phife on the beat keeping the streets safe from crime....
JODI: Oregon is so different from where I live..and that's why I like it so much. The tree lined streets are so pretty! Maybe you could do another video when it snows..I bet it's gorgeous! btw..is that old water tower filled with Spotted Cow by any chance? ;) Great video JODI..thank you!

Good morning to Zona, EBJ, LynnD and everyone dropping in later.
Jodi to show us YOUR town it took 4.36. To show you MY town it would take all of 36 seconds. If you blink you would miss it. No traffic lights, no fast food places (except Tim Hortons), one grocery store in "THE MALL" (which only has 3 other stores in it) and at our hospital you can't even give birth. They have to send you an hour away to another hospital.
I loved your video! You have way more leaves left on your trees than we do. We had heavy wind and rain last night that left a lot of trees bare. The "house on the island of land" was cool too! Thanks for sharing your town with us!
Jodi, thanks for the morning drive! It looks a lot like our "neck of the woods". I was hoping we would see you "fill up" on spotted cow!(tower) lol! I too want to see your work area and all the bakery stuff :)What's on special today?

Jodi, Love the vid of your little town. We have very few trees that are turning yet. However, we do have quite a few Victorian houses that are also protected by the historical society. Some of them downtown have been turned into businesses, mostly attorney offices. Thanks for showing us around your slice of heaven. ♥
I have so much to do to get ready for a family reunion I am hosting for my husband's family this weekend. I have been dragging my feet all week and now I'm way behind.

My parents moved to Oregon when I was 1 1/2. Our backyard butted up to corn fields. There is now over 25 square blocks of development behind my Dad's house. I love that we're raising our family in the town that I grew up in. Still has that "small town" feel....even with 4 stoplights and 3 Kwik Trips!! And the school district has excellent academics, sports, and arts programs. You can't get all that in the "big city".
I'm glad you enjoyed my little corner of the world ♥
JODI: Loved seeing your town and where you work. I guess I thought your town was smaller....3 Kwik Trips...we don't even have one in all of Denver. I do have a bone to pick with you. Why is that tree hanging from your mirror? What happened to the Bronco one I gave you? Do I have to go the car wash and get you another?
Our trees are beautiful too and look a lot like yours, JODI. It was nice to visit with you today too.
I would do a video but I don't know how!! challenged a little in that department!
I stopped and picked up dinner tonight as I went to the dentist and can't chew too great besides that I am lazyZ!
Time to go and watch Apprentice. ZONA, what did your insurance company tell you? Can you post any pictures of the hail damage? Hope all is okay and ins is doing what they need to do.
OMG....DIANNE!! I'm so sorry....the Bronco air freshener lost it's zing awhile ago!! I guess you'll have to send me a new one ♥ And I guess you wouldn't have a Kwik Trip considering you don't live in Iowa, Wisconsin, or Minnesota!! lol!! It was great to talk to you today. When do you get the 2nd replacement?

I'm supposed to be working at home but I have procrastinated all day. I have a cold and am very tired. I'm even more tired when I think of all the things I want to get done before I leave on my cruise in one week. Yikes! I'm just stressing myself out to think about it.

CAROL - No Dunkin' Donuts, but who needs that when you have Kwik Trip?!!? And the Firefly that Sam pointed out is a fabulous Coffeehouse!! I go there occasionally for "fancy" coffee and to relax!! You'd love it....a great place to read and they have free wifi!!
I hope you all have a good Friday. I left a stack of Glazer Donuts on the counter, fresh hazelnut coffee in a carafe, and plenty of chocolate milk in the fridge ♥
