We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)

Last weekend Sam and I took a road trip down to see Lois. We always have fun!! We just crank the tunes and jam....or fist pumpin' if you will. This is one of those songs that we really crank up loud!! Enjoy!!

We are having a horrific storm. I went to the grocery store and their power was out, so I drove to another one a little farther away. Their power was out also, but they have a generator and it works the cold and frozen appliances plus a few lights. It was eerie shopping in the semi-dark.
Dianne, Big game today. I'll be watching and wearing all my black and silver garb.

Just Lin if you keep travelling you will have been to more provinces than me! I have been to New Brunswick, Quebec and of course Nova Scotia. Did your cruise stop in New Brunswick?

Jodi, I know you didn't mean anything by it. But the male sporting world, especially professional team sports, has a deep-seated tradition of pumping themselves up and going after opponents with anti-gay slurs, slogans, and accusations.
Barb, I've never really thought about why it is so pervasive when it comes to team male competitive venues. Certainly, it helps create an "us" versus "them" mentality, which fuels the competitive fires. And the traditional associations with gay people and mental weakness, lack of physical courage, lack of athletic ability or inclination, etc. etc., play right into the "pump us up at your expense" mentality.
Someday, all the gay players in the NFL, NHL, NL, AL, and the NBA will be out of the closet, and this particular form of bullying will become politically incorrect and socially unacceptable. As things stand today, though, it's not much of a surprise that pro male team sports are the last great bastion of the closet.

Just got back from mass and lunch with the college boy.....had to leave him to study (hubby thinks he's gonna take a nap!)! We turned on the tv when we got to our room...and the younger boy put the bronco game on! I about choked!!! the score!!!! AND IT'S ONLY THE BEGINNING OF THE 2ND QUARTER!!!!! So now they are watching American Pickers.....thought the "game" wasn't worth watching!!!!
Will someone please tell (choke) Shirley (choke) that I will no longer be speaking to her!~ tyvm~
Mr Z had to use the computer all frickin' day for work..since 8am..damn we need another computer..this is ridiculous! I feel completely cut off from the world! On top of that my phone is acting up..it won't let me open up any pictures..well it does..after it takes a half hour to load them. I got so frustrated yesterday, I grounded the damn thing and left it at home! I guess it might be time for a new phone..dang..I've only had this one 3 years and I'm still(with JODI's help)learning how to use it! I think I'm gettin' old..lol..
JODI: This song had me be-boppin' around the room..don't worry, I didn't get hurt.. ;) I think I need to listen to the radio more..I've never heard it before and I really like it! I can just see you and Sam rollin' down the hi-way with this tune blasting..sounds like so much fun!!
DIANNE: Did you see the picture of Elway in the Raiders uniform during the Minnesota/Green Bay game..I wish I'd gotten a screen shot of it..he looked pretty good.. ;)
SACBARB: Sounds like a chapter out of a Stephen King novel..no, I don't mean the game..I'm talking about shopping in the dark.. ;)...;D

Zona, one 'puter? We have 3 PCs and 3 laptops. Not fun about this time of year when my Norton security needs to be updated! One puter is for my Karaoke,one is a mini for traveling, one for son's school, and my reg.laptop. I rarely use that. How was the "Reeses"?
