Morning Lynn.... You are purdy at first today. Yea, nugget to go to the beach!! I wish I had a beach to go too but we are going to the mountains todaybtonsee all the beautiful color changes and then have dinner. Louis turned 65 today so I thought we should do something fun.

Barb: boy, we broke all kinds of records with heat so I can relate to those pictures. Thanks for sending blog in.

Awake again at 6:30 and didn't go to sleep until almost 4!!! Hope instaybawake, I'm the driver today. I don't get why I'm awake so early every day. I truly think its because I have a lot to do before surgery plus the anxiety of waiting. Now I'm hungry!!!!

Good Morning Lynn - Do you still have beach weather? We did up until yesterday and a cold front came in. Today is the first day of Autumn and it feels colder than that.

Good Morning Dianne - I think you should have a nap before you drive. Two hours of sleep is not enough. I am praying your surgery comes and goes quickly. You don't need that anxiety in your young life.

Happy Birthday Louis - Have a good one.

Zona - Thanks for starting yesterday with a laugh. I enjoyed all of them. Sorry I am late in commenting. Friday was a busy day.

Today is a day of memories for me. In 90 minutes it will be 4 years since I lost my best friend, my mother. I hope she is having fun in Heaven with my Dad, sister and baby brother. We will all go to the cemetery this afternoon and take flowers. I think the deer are waiting for a good lunch.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Barb - I forgot to mention how much Jack and I enjoyed your pictures. Does it really get that hot? It makes me thankful for our weather even if we do have too many cloudy days in the winter.

BARB: Great pics..love the one with the dogs and cats grabbing that little slice of shade under the car!

LYNN: Enjoy your time at the beach. :)

TINKA: Try to think of all the things about your mom that made you smile. I know it never gets easier but sometimes happy memories can help you get through these sad days. {{Hugs}} Love you.

DI: Happy Birthday to Louis! Have fun today..take lots of pics..but pull over first.. ;)

Thanks to everyone for the comments yesterday..time got away from me and I wasn't able to get onto the blog..but I appreciate them.

Take care everyone..have a nice weekend. :)

Good afternoon Owls.

Zona, This made me think of you and the heat you endure. I actually don't mind some heat, but your temps are ridiculous.

Lynn, You are bright eyed at first today and yes, some of those pics are painful to see. Have a good time at the beach.

Tinka, It doesn't really get that hot where I live. In fact, we have had really mild summers for the past three years. It has been very pleasant.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Evening all!

Happy Birthday Louis!

Looks like a change of plans we will be going to the beach on Monday. I don't care as long as I get to go.

Tinka all weather is beach weather to me. :)

Yes Dianne I am even packing my nuggets.

Zona I am waving at you and Barb.

My gosh, see how I type early in the morning. It looks like Zona's blog yesterday about bad typing and phones changing your words.

Lynn: I was reading your post and could not figure out what your nuggets were---duh, looks I'm drinking in the AM! I'm really not.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes for Louis. We had a very nice day and it was beautiful out. It was in the 60's with the sun shining and gorgeous colors. We met my brother and wife for dinner and then we went for some ice cream. I drove on some very very high mountain skinny roads/passes without guard rails. New for me and Louis even stayed awake!!

Jodi: thanks for the Birthday song VM for Louis. You sing so nice.
