Politics!

this subject always has me very confused
some people great crazed about it
and yet some people could not care less

i am far from the person who knows
all the ins and outs of the political world
i do not follow as i should, i will freely
admit that, as for me honesty is what
i believe in

my thoughts however are clear on
what i want in an American President:

forthrightness
health care management
senior care
equality for all Americans
immigration boundaries

these are my top five, there are many
more, however these five stand out the most

i being a republican in todays world is
somewhat of a dirty word, as Mr Bush
has made some mistakes

but was he the only President to
make mistakes? was he the only one
to turn our country into a different
direction then it should have went?

i for one do not want to live in
a monarchy country, i want the
freedom to vote for who i please

just really don't know who yet
none of the candidates "floats my boat"

decision's decision's decision's ! ! !

Politics - that subject is something that my father always said was one of the "taboo" subjects at parties, etc.

SO - with that said - I will NOT be engaging in today's blog!!

I hope everyone has an excellent Monday!!! :-)

MEK NUMBER ONE!!!
IBBOLD..ALMOST!!!
I will have to consider today's topic. I will say that while I do scrutinize the person running for office, I REALLY scrutinize who they have around them. I remember the old saying "If you want to know what you are truly committed to, take a look around you."

Wishing all a wonderful Monday...hoping Whab and west coasters have plenty of sandbags and rain gear today.

Oh for God's sake MEK is back!!! LOL Congrats on first!!!

Good Morning IBB and NowMercy!

Oh boy Carol I think you may have opened a can of worms with this topic!!

Like you I want to see Health Care Reform and not enforced health care that the people have to pay for a policy no matter what or be fined. Hello if they are struggling how the heck will that help?

I also want Education reform. Our Education system is a mess. If we don't do something soon we will no longer be a country that can compete!

My feeling is that if we can run up a bill of 3 trillion for war than we sure as hell should be able to cover health care and higher education for our people! Somewhere along the way our priorites as a nation have gone way off course.

I always look at all of the candidates to see who closely covers the issues important to me and then make a decisicion.

I know who I want out of all of the current candidates at this time but will leave it at that.

Hope everyone has a great day! I am off to pay my super inflated utility bills!!

Morning LynnD... Welcome back... I see your computer got fixed!!!!!

spring said...

LYNND: Glad you are back! I agree that mandated insurance seems weird. I do think a compulsory system Could be good only if truly affordable. I am on the edge of feeling hopeless that big business will ever NOT be in control though and that includes insurance companies.

IBB: My heart warmed reading you missed me. I also missed you..specially last night in the Oscar party. Did you like or dislike any of the results?

ORGASM: The way biology tricks us into getting along at least 30-40 minutes, once in a while. A great way to get rid of period cramps..really! Okay..that's enough trouble makin for me.

CAROL: How are you doing? You were up late late late last night?

Too funny...the sisters battling it out for first! Congrats on first, second, third, fourth and fifth, MEK and IBB. Nice to see you both flying back to the nest....at the same time! Hope you are feeling muchly improved, IBB! And sounds like quite the Tigerlicious week you had, MEK...hope you have a chance to recuperate now!

Good morning, Nowmercy. What a blast to watch the Oscars with you and the other Owls last night!

Good Monday morning, Lynn_D!

A really interesting topic today, night.owls.sb! And since I am from another country and very opinionated about the political situation in the US, I think I will refrain from commenting, but would it be rude to say,it is definitely time for a change in the US...as it is in Canada as well!

canadiangirl said...

This is for Area 51 and Whabby ... I just read your response (sorry, long day away from the computer yesterday) to my post and my eyes got a little leaky. You are a dear friend, Whab, and your outrage at my Dad's remarks touched my heart. Thanks for your kind words (see? words DO make a difference!). I will always be your number 1 hag!

As for politics, I am very interested in what is going on down there (that sounded dirty) even though I can't vote there (umm, still dirty?). All I can say is anything has to be better than what you have been putting up with for the past 8 years! I hope that a spirit of tolerance, particularly for gay rights, wins the day!

Good Morning Feathered Friends

MEK!!! Steamrolling over your baby sister, huh? LOL Congrats on 1st!
Welcome home!

IBB - How are you feeling? I hope you are doing better.

LYNN D - Welcome back! Glad your computer has made a full recovery.

NOWMERCY - Thanks for breakfast! That was fun last night watching the Oscars with you!

I am still on the fence about who my candidate of choice is. I like bits and pieces of all of them and dislike pieces of them as well. I am afraid it is going to come down to voting for the lesser of two evils. I do know that there has to be change and major change at that, but don't know who is going to really make the right changes to better my life.

I wish it were more clear cut.

Have a good day my friends.

CAROL, thanks for the lovely quotes!!! They were orgasmic, I guess even a multiple there, since there were more then one!!!

Hey ViG and CG...My daughter has just completed a three week unit on Canada in her 6th grade social studies class. She concludes that Canada's system of governing is better than the US. So interesting to learn more about your government's system.

MEK>>Sorry not to say this earlier- so very glad you are back in the nest, and that you had sooo much fun. Do you think the dogs were dishing up a bit of payback for your absence?

spring said...

Please put up with one more comment. For me, what is upside down and confusing about the political scene is not the people running or the system. For me, there won't be change that will last until Americans begin thinking for themselves. That looks like critical thinking when listening to or reading news, and recognizing that corporations own the news media. That looks like letting go of the addiction to consumerism. That looks like admitting that television quite literally puts the mind into the beta level of hypnosis..so those images we see when we watch.. those big boobs, tight buns, perfectly dressed, nice houses, smart white people, criminal black people, illiterate or emotional latin people, evil middle east men, victim women, rescuing men, etc... are all being subtly programed into the mind.

Until we change the way we treat ourselves and each other, what are we pushing up toward our so called leaders? Until we let our money be a vote for what we believe in, it will be status quo. No amount of media, material items, prescription meds, sex, drugs or rock and roll will make the poor, disenfranchised, uninsured, opportunized, sick, crumbling infrastructures go away.

Anyway...I vote every single day with my choices for where I shop and that started with very small steps. That way I make a difference.

Wooa..I really went on and on.

ibebold said...

CG-I have been catching up on the past week... and I can totally relate to your dad story... My father said some of the most hateful things to me... the cut me to the core... still do.. and he has been gone for 16 years... I never got to tell him how hurtful his words were...
That story would have been appropiate yesterday...
But know that you are special to me... and would be sad not to get to meet you in here!!!

Anonymous said...

Good morning, Maureen and anyone else that has recently flown in!

nowmercy...that is interesting that your daughter has come to that conclusion! Canada's system definitely has some good things about it(some socialized programs...eg. health care) but as in every country there are gaps and needs for reform!

Happy Monday everyone!

I see more owls have flown in this morning.

I read where I left off yesterday and I was LMAO at the Oscar chatter!

My take on last nite was I was sad that most of the movies nominated were so violence based. Hollywood formula movies.

I did not recognize half the people getting awards.

Why the heck was Miley Cyrus presenting?

Was Enchanted the only movie that had a music score???

Ummm Tilda was interesting but I loved her speech! Tho I did wonder why she was wearing a black sheet.

What does Jessica Alba do??? I noticed that they all just kept saying how pretty she always looks. Nothing about her acting!!! LOL

Loved the flashbacks to past Oscars and I have to say that what struck me was not only the talent that is gone but the fact that they looked like real people and not Hollywood dolls just off of the assembly line.

Did Cameron Diaz have a quickie in the limo??? She could have brushed her hair before she hit the red carpet.

All in all it was one of the most boring Oscars I think I have ever watched. JMHO

I loved Diablo Cody and hope she does not fall into the Hollywood trap! Same with Ellen Page!!

Good Morning Mo, Dreama,Vig,CG and Iteach!!!

spring said...

LYNND: I could ditto your Oscar comments.. thanks. Also I did not understand the lack of surprise or enthusiasm by the Cohen brothers, they must be interesting... I didn't see any of the movies but will rent Rose and Michael Clayton.

lynn d, so glad Mr. lynn d got your puter all fixed up.

Vig, mornin' Sunshine! Did you put Oscar on your mantle?

Cg, good morning, nice to see you.

Mo, thanks again for teaching me how to spell something that I haven't ever written about before. I guess orgasm will be on my next spelling test, and I'm sure I'll make an A+, cuz I know how to spell lotz of 'bad' words.

iteach, good morning to you

dreamatexas, yeah they were here doing their little happy dance. I so agree with you about needing better boarder control.

Carol, really enjoyed last night and hope the sofa came clean.

Tink, Donnajean, Amicus, Thinking of you!

Ronnie

Just one thing, among many, that I so dislike during election time, is the incipient way the newscasters feel the need to put their personal spin, and opinions, on what I just heard a candidate say in their speech. I have a brain, I heard what was just said, and they don't need to tell me....I got it!

RonnieGirl said...

Hope Shirley is doing well at the doc's office this morning. Check in later, girl.

Hey RONNIE: So glad to hear from you this morning. I so agree about the newscasters. I too had a blast last night...fun stuff the nest.

CAROL: We discussed politics too..Mom was demo and Dad repub..so you can imagine. When daddy Bush bailed out jr for S&L mismanagements my Dad switched parties. I love really LISTENING to others points of view so I'll be reading today and hope to come away with new information and things to think about.

What really ticks me is when a president, wether it's 'W' or anyone else, gives and hour long State Of The Union Address, the newscasters do an hour long dissertation with their critique.
That's when my television gets turned off.

Good morning!

Definitely fun last night during the Oscars. I didn't watch them but feel like I did with all the great commentary!

Politics, ugh. Not my fave subject. Will give it some thought before I decide whether to comment or not.

As I get older, just more and more turned off by it all.

Anyway, hope you all have a great day! The sun is out here, yay! So far, no rain.

Nowmercy thanks for breakfast.

Lynn D good morning to you.

Canadiangirl and Vig I am from Canada too so my say on US politics will have a different slant than my US friends. It's interesting being on the outside looking in, don't you think.

Maureen what can I say...BITCH!!LOL!!

Iteach and Dreamatexas good morning to you gals too.

Ronniegirl I made it back from the doctor with more medication, information on a new Nova Scotia Pharmacare Program for low income starting soon (I would only have to pay 80% of my prescriptions)and thought about how to loose weight...which I won't get into on the blog(it's too personal for me and embarrassing). So that was my morning.

Oh, my unemployment insurance just ran out too...about 5 weeks before I thought it would. Not a great start to the week.BBL.

ebj~~Good morning! I agree with you about the getting older and being somewhat turned-off with politics. Sometimes, it seems like a bunch of kids in the school yard fuss fighting. At my age, and having been through many elections with broken promises made, I feel like I am, once again, trying to be made a victim. Anything it seems, can and will be said, just to get my vote. I guess we really just have to look at the history of these people, and not their speeches.

I'm off my soap-box now! lol

Ronnie

Lynn D said...

IBB: Thanks for the welcome back! I am so happy to see you posting too!

NowMercy: Thank you! Yes I keep asking why we would treat health insurance like car insurance?? To me Health care should be a right not a privilage. Where as owning a car is a privilage. Plus in our state we have mandatory car insurance and I can't tell you how many court appearences I read in the paper every week where people are being fined for no insurance. So obviously this does not work either!!! If people are poor or on a limited income what should they pay first??? Housing, food, Insurance??? I happen to think that Housing and food are not luxury items.

Vig: I would love to hear yours and fellow Canadians take on our political system!

Mo: I love ya!! I can type and annoy all of you again! LOL

Carol: I think getting different opinions is great too! I was not criticizing you! I hope you don't think I was. This year in our neck of the woods the election is a hot debate and a couple of my friends and I have decided not to discuss because is so heated!! Tho I have to say this is the first year in my marriage where Mr. Lynn D and I agree on the same candidate!!! A miracle! LOL

ronniegirl: I am happty to be back. I too get tired of the this is what they said. Now Let me tell you what you should have heard mentality of the media!!! Duh I have a brain. It also seems to me in the last 8 years that there seems to be no unbiased opinion coming out of the media anymore!

Hi Shirley!!! I am waving a wing at you and sending big feathery (((Hugs))) your way!

Hi EBJ! Also anyone one else I missed typing this!! Waving vigorously!

Lynn_D...LOVED your insightful post Oscar commentary. I agree...I couldn't get excited about the big awards going to the most violent movies....when there were really sweet hopeful movies like Juno in the running! And yay for Diablo Cody..I too hope she doesn't get sucked up into the Holywood vortex...what a story...from exotic dancer to Oscar winner! Wow...gotta love that!

Okay, I gotta work now! See you all a bit later!

Good Monday Morning Owls! It seems so funnyto have the kids back in school again, after a week off for mid-winter break. Did we ever have all of these breaks? I do not think so!

I grew up in a very politically involved family. We lived less than 2 hours from DC and were very active in campaigning. My best friend's father was a politician in MD, so we would help on his campaign and then end up campaigning for all the candidates in our party. It was a lot of fun, taught me a lot... and got me invited to a lot of interesting parties in some pretty prestegious places.

It also let me see some stuff that I think back on now and have a hard time with. SO MANY of those men would show up at the events and celebrations with girl friends, while we all knew and worked closely with their wives. We were just children, so we were afraid to say anything. But it scarred me. So when Bill had his fling with Monica and I saw all the finger pointing going on, it made me sick. Some of the people who were pointing their fingers were at those same parties when I was younger. And they were far from innocent!

All I know is that we are in very exciting times. And hopefully we will soon see our first female or minority president!

Shirley(NCC-1701) said...

Well Lynn D (thanks for the wave by the way) since you asked for Canadian opinions I will give you mine. I hope no one kicks me out of the nest!lol!

Up front I want to say that I understand how very important this election is to the US people. Having said that, I don't understand why I have been hearing about this election for the past year, non-stop, and you don't even vote until November. WTH?

There have been numerous debates (which I admit I haven't watched only heard about after)on the same topics. Now debating is good, but wouldn't one big debate with everyone be better than all these other debates? The more the candidites bitch at each other the less credibility they have...IMHO.

Instead of saying "He said" "She said" tell the US people what you are going to do when you become president. Don't beat aroundthe bush.

Someone mentioned the analysing the media does. Yeah they need to give that a rest. If you watched a candidate speak you do not need someone explaining to you afterwards what they said. If you are intellegent enough to watch in the first place then I think you can understand what they said.

These are just my opinion, not those of my country. So don't yell at me too loud. I will be over trying to clean the chocolate sauce off the sofa cushion. Peace to everyone.

Shirley(NCC-1701) said...

Vig you may have got mixed up cause my name here on the blog is Shirley (NCC-1701) which is the identification letters for the Enterprise from Star Trek. But I live here in good old Nova Scotia.

Maureen said...

SHIRLEY,
You make many valid points. And I would never vote to kisk you out of the nest!!!

I agree with the length of the campaigning and the plethora of debates. Maybe take some of that money spent on spewing rhetoric and lies and name calling and finger pointing...donate it to causes that can really help the constituents that need help.

I understand in Canada, the election process is far more streamlined and quick...is that correct?

I can barely afford my insurance anymore. I am thinking of dropping it...food and mortgage are seeming to be the option I need more. The insurance business is just that...a business. It is not to protect me. I had a lapse a while ago and when I got my new insurance, I found out nothing was covered that I had to see the doc for, because it was a "pre-existing condition". What kind of bullshit is that? I am paying premiums AND then have to pay for my medical coverage TOO. WTF? The price of COBRA is outrageous and I still pay my doc...so I may just drop it and hope for the best. I don't know.

And I also heard from a dear friend that the veterans and their families have even worse insurance then civilians do. Another WTF? They are fighting in a senseless war, leaving their families behind for multiple tours and they get treated worse then the rest of the population. That is just wrong.

Now I am pissed off again.

Off to do errands.

Good Morning Owls!!!

Looks like everyone had a blast in the nest last night WoooHooo!!!
I didn't watch the whole show, but I sure did pop with excitement when I saw Harrison Ford.
Oh my stars, cream my jeans, that man drives me wild!!

I wasn't going to comment on today's blog because I am Canadian, but, I decided I'd take the leap.
Usually I can be found in debates at HuffPo when I want a lil political relief..haha.but since this is a safe zone I thought I'd leave my 2 cents.

I want my government in charge of the BIG THINGS~~
IE:Health insurance.
Some ppl think we are over taxed and pay up the butt for things that aren't necessary, well in MHO HEALTH INSURANCE is necessary and should be available to ALL THE PPL OF THE COUNTRY, not just the rich and famous.
Yes,we pay taxes, and for those taxes I can at any time walk into a hospital, doctors office,I can receive MRI'S CT's and anything that is ordered by the doctors~ WITHOUT FEAR~that I could end up homeless because I couldn't pay the bill for that medical attention.
That peace of mind is worth millions to me.

I am very interested in the American white house, because it seems when there is a republican party in power, we end up with a Tory in our house, and usually Canada goes down hill for the term.

I'm pleased that our Country has more than 2 parties. It gives a voice to all Canadians.

I have always thought it strange that the U.S has only 2 parties.
There must be Americans out there that have bits and pieces of REP and DEM political beliefs to make up a third party?

Ok, I'll :oX now.
Love n hugs xox

On todays topic~ I have no illusions of a candidate "saving"us from the so called dreaded republicans. As far as the over used word "change", come on folks we need more than words here! As we have read on this blog in the last few days "words" are powerful tools and can be used to mold minds in many good and bad ways. If we must use the word "change", use it in your own homes and communities to change the way we look at gays, indigents, minorities, illegal aliens, overweight people, Christians, Jews, Catholics, Republicans, Democrats, handicappers, etc. When you vote, vote for a well rounded man or woman, not some one who only speaks for your own agendas. Hi everyone! Hope Monday is treating you well.

I was always told that two things were not up for discussion at my parent's parties..politics and religion. I guess they thought that these were two subjects that brought out such strong opinions in people--and that didn't mix with booze. (yikes..booze sounds like such an old fashioned word--even to me.)

I just want everyone to get along and no one to want for food, healthcare or shelter. I want all children taken care of and loved. No one should be afraid to walk down their streets at night. A person's sexual orientation should not be an issue. I wish there were no wars and that everyone could live and let live in peace. I've been called a 'dreamhead' because of my Utopian vision of society. Well, I guess I'll accept that, because that's the way I wish things could be.

MEK: WELCOME BACK!!! And in fine form I see--congrats on #1!!!

IBB: Good to see you back too. Glad you are feeling a little better. Isn't that website for BB9 the best??

NOWMERCY: Your laughing owl just cracks me up!

LYNND: Our electric bills are in the $300 range in the summer. I know how you feel when you pay yours.

VIG: Thank you for the McD update last night. I think the message crashed my computer for the evening!

CGIRL: I think it's the politician's themselves that make politics a dirty word. But your innuendo was great! ;)

Again, going to break this into two posts..I sure am getting long winded lately.

politics. I had this debate with a friend last night. I will vote for who I think can make the best choices for our country. No one candidate scores 100 on my concerns, but I will vote for whom I think can lead this country to a better place.

MEK: gratz on 1st.

Jodi~ I think I will "rest my eyes" too. My Grand Daughter used to say that when she would visit. She hated taking naps and would fall asleep on our couch. Her eyes would get heavy and she would say " I'm not sleeping! Just resting my eyes" LOL!!

I just did the laundry, made a large pot of chili, grilled cheese sandwiches & hot toddies. I need to rest my eyes!

I miss Tina!!

Shirley~ I need to tell you, I am still in shock over yesterdays blog. I cannot in a million years imagine hearing such things from your own mother! It has really upset me that you had to go thru that.

If she ever said that to me, I would probably give her "the eye", look at her with "my look" and then tell her, "No mother... I am NOT stupid. I am forgiving and you are very lucky that I am!"

MAUREEN: I agree with you 100%. Way too much money is spent on these campaigns.

SHIRLEY: Thanks again for yesterday's blog. Sorry to hear about the insurance situation.

LOVEY: Just seeing your red boa makes me smile!

MARY/MI: Glad you feel better! Why is it that men suffer soooo much when they are sick??

KGIRL: My computer crashed last night and I was lost! I can't imagine all weekend.

DREAMA: RED BULL should have helped you keep up last night! I bounce off the walls when I drink it...which is why Mr. Z brings it home. He calls me Tigger. ;)

JODI: I'm all for saving brain cells! And before you say anything, dreamhead is not an adverb! ;)

HUGS and prayers to AMICUS and TINKA!

WAVING HI to: ITEACH, CPGEM8, RGIRL, EBJ, GLYNIS, WANT2, BARB/WA, and Custard's dream JUST_LIN!!

Ok, I'm back for a short bit. I went to get my Red Bull (Zonababy has it running through her veins):0)...just kidding Zona.
I went to the post office too. I'm standing in the long line waiting my turn. This elderly Hispanic lady at the front of the line mails her package and then turns to everyone and yells out go vote for Hilary. An elderly black lady across the room says oh no, I'm voting for Obama. The Hispanic lady yells back that he's too young. The elderly black lady says there's plenty of old people out there that aren't as smart as young people. Yadda, yadda, back and forth. Finally this huge black guy in front of me says ladies please, I just want to mail my package and get back to my job. The lady behind me starts yacking about politics to the big dude in front of me. I had to stick my fingers in my ears and sing the la la song. I think that freaked them all out. The line finally moved and I finally got to mail my package and get out of there. I think I am going to avoid public places until after March 4th when our voting is over. It's dangerous here in Texas right now.

kahonugrl said...

Dreama:

You could look at it this way. At least folks are not complacent right now, and by their voices it is apparent they all want some changes to be made. I think at times talking politics in public can be for lack of a better word, dangerous. BUT, at least this time around people are talking, voting, and doing something about it. I am sorry that you felt ill at ease there, but I think it is great that so much is being said and done this time around.

Jus my two cents worth.......

I ROCK!
I won my local papers Oscar Derby!
LMAO!!!
There was a 14 way tie with that many people missing one of the big categories. I missed Lead Actress. Then they went to the tie breaker of which movie would win Best Picture. That only dropped it to an 11 way tie. So they went to the next tie breaker of how many awards would the Best Picture win. That dropped it down to a 4 way tie. So then they went by who sent in their ballot the earliest. I filled mine out online in January. The other people didn't send theirs in until February!
**again** I ROCK! LOL!

Good Evening -

My day of rest was not to be today.

Here's some really exciting news:

The Easter candy is out now!! YEAH, I just LOVE those Russell Stover's Vanilla Cream eggs - I remember that Barb in WA likes the milky way ones..

WHY do they only make those at Easter??

RonnieGirl said...

Carol~~
Remembering what your jammies looked like last night, it's no wonder you can't spell ORGASM either. lol Guess it's not just me!

I sure Mo will be showing up again soon with another spelling lesson.

OK guys.....
sucky thing about winning the Oscar Derby. I have to have my pic taken tomorrow morning. They want a color one. I have been sending them black and whites and ♥lovey♥ bless her heart, tried to fix my antiqued one to black and white, and they won't take it. They want color. Damn. I change those from color for a reason! LOL! Ugh. So now I have to go down there at 8am and have my pic taken. I hate not having control over what they use. Maybe the photographer will be a trooper and let me take a looksie. I hope it's not something cheesy where they make me hold a large bucket of popcorn and a sodie!

Waving hi to EVERYONE!!! my brain is STILL not functioning properly.

Whabby - did you have to wear a tux to your party last night..

OH - and most important - WHO won the best dressed in the Nest last night???!!!

I had to chuckle at the "what are you wearing?" - it started to sound like a 1-900 number!!!
;-)

MEK in AZ said...

kahonugrl said...

going home for the evening.

1-900 # now that's funny!

See you owls tomorrow.

iteach said...

Do you know what is on the top of my mind right now?

Bras

I can never find one I like.

Is there a owl in the nest who is so in love with their bra that they would like to share the name of it for me.

I would so deeply appreciate it!

Seriously, I am no trying to make a pass on anyone.

I just hate my bras!

canadiangirl said...

Iteach - I'm a bit of a lingerie whore (careful people ....) and the best suggestion I can make is to go to a specialty store (something OTHER than Victoria's Secret) and get a proper fitting. You'd be surprised how many of us wear the wrong size and style for our bodies. If you are a larger woman, I know that Lane Bryant does it (they did it for my daughter and it was an amazing change), otherwise save your pennies and go to someplace like Nordstroms or one of the higher end stores. Once you know the proper size and style, you can shop around for a cheaper one. Good luck!

Where's Whabby?

Bon'O said...

cg ~~whabby's on a biz trip in Denver.

iTeach~~one word on bras...WACOAL!!
I sent you the link to their site by email, and a logo photo.

Mary/MI said...

iteach~ I have trouble buying bras too. Usually once a year I spend the whole day just trying different ones on. It's amazing how many bras claim to be one size, but fit differently! Mu favorite is Vanity Fair. I am well endowed and need all the "lifting" I can get! LOL!!

Bon'O said...

as long as I'm here, HI OWLS !!

I've been a 'lurker' today. Must have gone a little crazy at the after Oscar party last night....feelin' a bit yucky.

Mary/MI said...

BonO~ I was just looking though my bra labels, a couple were Wacoal. I couldn't remember where I bought them. Thought they may be off brands so I didn't mention them. They are comfortable!

Anonymous said...

i am whispering in case some owls don't want to know this..and i totally understand and support the reasons why...but the intern is on leno tonight...doing an oscar after party show

The place I went to is a local bar/restaurant that has been in my
neighborhood for what seems a lifetime...

Tossed Salad w/fresh Escarole
Clams Oregano
Shrimp Peeps (Fra Diablo)
Cavatelli and Pot Cheese
Chicken Savoy

It does not get any better than that!

Delish

Burp, Excuse me!

Just_Lin said...

VIG (whispering) Thank you for the heads up on the intern thing.

Anonymous said...

iteach...thanks...still whispering. just didn't want to say it too loud...so the owls that did not want to hear the name of the one who remains unmentioned, wouldn't have to hear it! okay, you've got me thinking about my bra now too! I just googled wacoal bras...and did you know you could buy them on-line from amazon?!!! I thought amazon only sold books!!!!

MEK in AZ said...

Iteach - I wear Victoria Secret bras - I know they are expensive - I have two different ones - but I will have to go check the labels to tell you their "exact" names.

VIG - LOL at whispering.

Now- here's a first - I just got finished typing out the LONGEST damn blog for myspace page about my last three days at the golf course and got FOADED!!! now, that sucks to get internet interuption on your OWN postings... SO - I lost the whole thing and just don't have the brain power to try to do it again tonight!!!!
