Yes, I like who I have become, I did not like myself in my younger years.

Absolutely, the can't breathe kinda love, still am. I am grateful for finding this true love, as it does not happen for all. At least in my lifetime I can say I knew what it was to be in love and be loved.

For the most part, I am. I do have my moments of the now and again fib.

I love that I live in NJ and would not change that, However I would like to live in a different area of NJ.

Iteach - You are going to get the reputation of being an Early Owl. That's at least two days in a row you have landed in the nest and no-one else was there. Are you up early all during your summer holidays too? Actually the early mornings are the best time of the day for me. In the winter I sit by the fire place. In the summer I sit out on the deck. It is beautiful out there in the early morning.

Not lately. I used to be strong, the fixer. Now I feel weak and need fixing

I try to be. If telling a 100% truth would hurt someone, then I may shade it. Like if someone has on an ugly sweater and they ask if I like it, I would not say no, but I would say that they looked good in it...or that it suits them perfectly. Something like that.
I'm also not too honest with myself lately.

I am not sure. I guess it is right for me. Or maybe not. It is awfully hard to find a job here, but I have my roots set here, so I have to deal with it.

Mostly. I am sure they would be even more supportive if I told them just how bad it really is.

Can't pick one...needs to be 2. Mom and dad.

1. Do you like who you are? Yes, I like who I am on the inside but I wish I would have kept myself in better physical shape.

4. Are you living where you really want to be? I like the fact that I am living in the house I grew up in. But in the summer I wish I'd grown up somewhere cooler and my house was THERE.

Oh someone please save me..they are interviewing 'he who shall not be named'...BLECH!
I will answer the questions, honest! But first, I'd like to make an important public service announcement, courtesy of a bizarre twist on our Saturday night activities kept us awake until about 3 in the morning.
We first had a great dinner at a fantastic restaurant in San Mateo, and were planning to follow that by dropping in to a birthday party for our friend Dee Dee (real name Michael).
Trouble was, huz parked his car across the street, which is actually a big divided-lane monstrosity called Potrero.
Potrero is very busy at that location, almost an on ramp for a couple of highways, so cars travel very fast. Huz got out of his car, bottle of champagne in hand, and started to run across the street during a traffic lull.
In the darkness, he didn't see the 6 inch concrete divider between north and southbound lanes. At a full lumber, he tripped over the divider and fell right on top of the champagne bottle. Luckily, he was able to pick himself up and get across the street to safety. However, the glass caused some pretty deep lacerations on his right hand, and we spent a delightful couple of hours in the emergency room of a local hospital while they sutured the lacerations.
Morale of the story: Blog buddies, please please please beware of concrete medians while carrying champagne to birthday parties!
I know this particularly kind of hazardous situation doesn't get a lot of mainstream attention, but now we can all be a little more aware!
Oh, Jodi, I love vodka and lemonade. My all time favorite cocktail. It has been a long time since I've had it.

Bless his heart, he was so patient with me while I ranted and raved like the world had ended, because my dishwasher wouldn't work. Like always, he rushed right over to fix it for me. I don't know what I'd do without him.
6. If you could pick one person you would like to see again, who would it be?
She's not a person, but who I want to see the most is Fantine so I can say goodbye and tell her I'm sorry.
7. What profession would you choose if you could do it all over again?
I walked away from a career in corporate accounting to pursue my dream of owning my own business and working with pets. I love my job and would make the same decision all over again.

I've already mentioned my dad so another person would be my aunt. We're only 5 years apart in age so she's also like a big sister and best friend.

Hi Owls...sorry I have been MIA. The last 2 days were so incredibly hectic that I have made myself sick. I knew it was coming friday night when I was sitting in an over- heated gymnasium at the Univ. of WA while the unicycle team warmed up for their performance. I do not do well in over-heated places... and with all the other stress, it was a bad match. So here I am... feeling only slightly better, but I am up.
1. Do you like who you are? I do like who I am, though sometimes I am shocked at who I turned out to be. I was a punk rocker in the mid 80's and thought I would end up living in London. Who knew?
2. Do you feel you have ever truly been in love? I KNOW I am experiencing true love now. No doubt in my mind.
3. Are you a honest person? Yes, but that's a lie. HA! J/K! I try to be honest unless it is going to really hurt someone and then I try to be silent.
4. Are you living where you really want to be? Absolutely!! I have lived on both coasts of the US and in a few places in Europe... and WA is my "forever home". Now when the kids are grown and move away, let's talk!
5. Is your family supportive? Ummm, my current family (husband and kids) are incredibly supportive. If you mean the family I grew up with~ NO!
6. If you could pick one person you would like to see again, who would it be? I never met any of my grand parents because I was born after they all passed... so I think that is who I would like to see.

Not wanting her to feel like I wasn't participating in her quest, I ate 6 points, whatever the hell that means. Actually, I had Cajun lime tilapia, which was really good. I would have enjoyed a little crispy crumbled bacon on the top, but I understand cpgem took care of that supply at breakfast. lol

Sure do know, it's about an hour and 20 min. away from me. Wrong side of town for me. Just you be careful coming through this big ole town. The freeways are horrible, especially in morning and afternoons. I don't even dare try calling anyone on my cell phone when I'm on them, too damn dangerous. Using the "mother" attitude.
I'm getting less fearless in my old age and stay off of them as much as possible.

Uvalde is on the southeast side of Houston and there will be big green signs overhead that will say an upcoming exit and then Uvalde on the same sign.
Meaning you will maybe have to get off the exit befor Uvalde and stay on the feeder street until you get to the light.
Am I being clear?
I would say, To be on the safe side, get off before Uvalde and just drive a few blocks until you come to Uvalde.

But get off on federal and stay on the feeder. When you get off there pull into a gas station just to make sure you're on the right track. there's so much construction on there, the feeder just may not go through to Uvalde right now. If it does, stay on the feeder.
